Who is Mirconex?

Mirconex is a full service quality supplier of industrial MRO and production items. Our customer base is largely made up of automotive part stamping plants, in and around the GTA, and we offer an unlimited range of diverse products to fulfill your varied requirements. Mirconex offers a professional, and experienced sales and support staff, trained to provide the highest caliber of service.

WHY MIRCONEX?

Buyers are constantly looking for supply alternatives. How does the buyer select a supplier that stands out? It's much harder than it may sound, for the following reasons:


  1. Many products have been downgraded from "quality" to "commodity" status. In the MRO supply market, the lower priced commodity item will always look more attractive than the quality product due to price. A commodity is a product differentiated only by it's price.​​​​​​​
  2. Copying is not limited to products. If one company comes up with a marketing scheme, or a 3" thick catalogue, or on-line ordering, etc., it doesn't take long for most of the competition to follow. Now the dilemma what seems to be the same product from vendors with identical services! How do you chose?
  3. Buyers would like to consolidate purchasing, while MRO suppliers are buying and selling each other (merging) faster than ever these days. This consolidation of suppliers blunts competitive differences. How can you have differences when everyone regresses around the mean? The outcome is just a whole lot of superstore-type companies that all look and all act alike.

What Can We Supply?

Mirconex regularly supplies items such as power tools, hand tools, abrasives, adhesives, cutting tools, all types of fasteners including socket products, precision measuring instruments, safety products, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial plumbing supplies, and many, many more specific and general items. We would like to point out that Mirconex is not, however, limited to only the above mentioned products. We are sourcing specialists, being able to locate and procure even the most difficult to find items through our vast line up of vendors and supply resources.

Vendor Base Reduction

Mirconex is dedicated to providing the most extensive product line in the industry, and is accustomed to procuring the most diverse, and very often some of the most difficult to find items in the MRO supply field. Competitors such as the large "super-catalogue" stores cannot offer the same range of products because logistically, it would be too costly for them to vary from the items listed in their catalogues. Mirconex is establishing a relationship with another new vendor(s) on a daily basis, because we are fulfilling another specific customer requirement(s).

Value Added Solutions

Mirconex representatives sell a three dimensional solution - the product or service, the company, and the person. Our sales representatives contribute at least one third of the value customers receive, while the product and the company contribute the balance. The salesperson's competence and attitude are the primary drivers of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. The most accurate and justifiable way to evaluate a supplier should not be left solely to the cheapest price, or the most impressive catalogue, or the best website. Performance, expedience, competence, accuracy, flexibility, availability, presence, reliability, trust, and integrity must all be considered in any such evaluations.
